Sharky's Weekly Spread Ideas #1

Can't think of what to write, or only have two pages left in your journal and you fear a full entry will need more than that? I find myself with this issue fairly often myself, and I'm here to help you! ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧ There's a wide array of spread inspo you can find on Pinterest, but sometimes doomscrolling becomes too all consuming, so I find it's often easier to make a list and work based on that! Here's the first weekly Sharky's list of spread ideas, part one (all with example images)!

1. Bingo

This idea is very simple! You decorate your page and create a bucket list of things to do within a specific time frame. I like to do seasonal, so Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter! You can do one every season, or put all four at the start or end of a journal together!

2. Junk Spread

This one is really simple, and requires nothing but junk you have! It doesn't have to be pretty either, just make sure not to put anything that may harbor mold (food wrappers) that can eat the pages or be detrimental to your health. Junk mail, receipts, packaging all can be used! No stickers or washi necessary for these spreads to look cute, they're all about the power of composition!

3. Memory Page

This is similar to the last idea, but you use junk solely from a specific day and can attach images. Pictures can be added via a Kodak Step, Canon Ivy, at-home printer, or using the app FreePrints, which I'd definitely recommend for a low-cost way to get images to use for journaling purposes!

5. Inspirational Quote Page
Write a quote that inspires you or, if you have a cute quote calendar like I did, tape in the quote for that day on a page!

6. Me
Draw yourself with lines pointing out to interests and personality traits!

7. Interests
Just write all of your interests together, separated by a small symbol! Maybe add a doodle of yourself on the side!

8. Favorite Animal Facts/Myths
Make one page showing a number of facts, and another with myths about one of your favorite animals, or an animal you know a lot about! You could do this about a video game or book, too!

9. Magazine Cut-out Collage
Make a collage out of pretty images or ones you feel fit you from magazines, junk mail, etc!

10. Stats
Make YOUR stat sheet, putting your "stats" (things about you) together! Maybe even full-on assign yourself a DnD class and stats you think you'd have as a player character or NPC!
